Appeals Court Kills Vote On Miami Beach Convention Center

Law360, Miami (September 20, 2013, 10:56 PM EDT) -- The city of Miami Beach, Fla., will have to cancel a November referendum asking voters to approve leasing land to a private developer for a $1 billion convention center redevelopment project, after a state appeals court ruled Friday that the ballot question didn't provide necessary information.
