DOJ Says US Airways Can't Have Privileged Merger Docs

Law360, New York (September 27, 2013, 1:37 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Justice told a Washington, D.C., federal judge Thursday that the evidence that drove it to approve four previous airline mergers was confidential and the agency should not be required to turn documents over as part of its suit to block the $14 billion tie-up of US Airways Group Inc. and American Airlines Inc.
