Law360, Los Angeles (October 2, 2013, 3:06 PM EDT) -- Hewlett-Packard Co. on Tuesday voluntarily dismissed with prejudice its lawsuit against so-called patent troll Innovative Wireless Solutions over a slew of infringement suits IWS filed earlier this year in Texas against hotel and coffee shop chains that use HP's wireless routers, according to court records.
U.S. District Judge Lee Yeakel entered an order dismissing HP's suit with prejudice Tuesday, based on the information technology company's notice from a day earlier indicating it would withdraw the suit.
