IDI Acquires Verde Realty For $1.1B

Law360, Los Angeles (October 2, 2013, 9:46 PM EDT) -- Atlanta-based industrial real estate company Industrial Developments International, which in August was purchased by Brookfield Property Partners LP, has acquired Houston-based Verde Realty for $1.1 billion, the firm announced Tuesday. 

The merger of IDI and Verde Realty, which is majority-owned by Brookfield Property, will position IDI as one of the largest industrial property companies in North America, the firm said.
