Calif. Contractor Ups Furloughs On Shutdown's 10th Day

Law360, New York (October 10, 2013, 5:22 PM EDT) -- California-based URS Corp. on Thursday said it placed 3,000 people on furlough, adding to the chorus of contractors forced to temporarily cut down on their workforce as the federal government enters its 10th day of shutdown.
