Gamers Sue Over 'Grand Theft Auto V' Online Delays

Law360, Chicago (October 11, 2013, 3:21 PM EDT) -- The makers of violent blockbuster video game "Grand Theft Auto V" have been hit with a class action in California court by two disgruntled gamers upset over the delayed launch of the game’s online features.

Take-Two Interactive Software Inc., better known as Rockstar Games, boasted in advertisements about the game’s interactive online world, where players can assemble teams of far-flung compatriots to compete in modes like “Gang Wars” and “Team Deathmatch,” according to a complaint filed Oct. 4 by Bruce McMahon and Christopher Bengtson.
