Settlement Class Says Deepwater Deal Should Be Affirmed

Law360, Los Angeles (October 18, 2013, 8:11 PM EDT) -- A district court’s order and judgment approving a multibillion-dollar settlement of claims for lost business tied to the Deepwater Horizon disaster should be affirmed, members of the economic and property damages settlement class told the Fifth Circuit in a letter on Friday.
