Caesars Folds $1B Casino Plans, Gansevoort Deal Amid Probe

Law360, New York (October 21, 2013, 3:14 PM EDT) -- Caesars Entertainment Corp. has pulled out of a $1 billion casino-resort project in Massachusetts and ended a $190 million Las Vegas partnership with Gansevoort Hotel Group because of a gaming commission's concerns over a Gansevoort investor's alleged Russian mafia ties, sources told Law360 on Monday.
