JPMorgan Reaches $5.1B Deal With FHFA Amid DOJ Talks

Law360, New York (October 25, 2013, 6:16 PM EDT) -- The Federal Housing Finance Agency on Friday announced a $5.1 billion settlement with JPMorgan Chase & Co. over the sale of faulty mortgage-backed securities to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, part of a broader settlement the bank is currently negotiating with the U.S. government.
