Law360, Washington (October 28, 2013, 5:25 PM EDT) -- Lauding its success with its patent assertion and monetization business model, CopyTele Inc. announced Monday it settled its patent infringement suit in Texas federal court against Alaska Air Group Inc. with a licensing agreement to cover its frequent flyer program technology.
Although CopyTele and its subsidiary Loyalty Conversion Systems Corp. wouldn't disclose the terms of the licensing deal, the company claimed the agreement showed their patent monetization business model could be successful.
