CBS Says 'Attractive, Young' Women Hires Protected

Law360, Los Angeles (November 1, 2013, 5:50 PM EDT) -- CBS Broadcasting Inc. on Friday urged a California appeals court to toss allegations that it passed on a television meteorologist job candidate because he’s not an "attractive young" woman, saying a free-speech law protects its selection of who acts as a “public face” of its brand.
