Maidenform, Wacoal Face Class Action Over Slimming Claims

Law360, New York (November 5, 2013, 6:35 PM EST) -- Intimate apparel giants Maidenform Brands Inc. and Wacoal America Inc. were hit Tuesday with a proposed class action in New York federal court accusing them of falsely marketing their shapewear fabric as being constructed with minerals and nutrients that are absorbed by the skin and permanently change the wearer's body shape and skin condition.
