Ann Taylor Customers Win Class Cert. In LOFT Card Case

Law360, New York (November 13, 2013, 5:02 PM EST) -- A New York federal judge on Tuesday granted certification to a consumer class accusing World Financial Network National Bank of providing customers of its Ann Taylor LOFT credit card with disclosure statements that violated the Truth in Lending Act.

U.S. District Judge Paul A. Crotty granted lead plaintiff Ester Kelen's motion to certify the class, appointing Harley Jay Schnall and Brian L. Bromberg as class counsel. Bromberg and Schnall have represented Kelen in four other class actions in the past, according to court documents.
