Samsung Owes Apple $290M For Copying IPhone, Jury Says

Law360, San Francisco (November 21, 2013, 4:31 PM EST) -- Samsung Electronics Co. owes Apple Inc. $290.5 million for selling mobile devices that infringed five iPhone and iPad patents, a California federal jury found Thursday, trouncing Samsung’s efforts to cap damages at $53 million and bringing its total bill for copying Apple products to almost $930 million.
