India Court Bars Plaza Hotel's Owner From Selling Assets

Law360, New York (November 26, 2013, 5:08 PM EST) -- A rumored sale of New York City's landmark Plaza Hotel is on hold as the Supreme Court of India issued an order Friday barring the hotel’s owner, Sahara India Pariwar, from selling any assets and prohibiting the conglomerate’s chairman and two other directors from leaving the country.
