5th Circ. Says Credit Card Add-On Dispute Not Federal Case

Law360, Los Angeles (December 2, 2013, 10:53 PM EST) -- The Fifth Circuit on Monday sent back to district court a suit accusing a half-dozen credit card companies of charging consumers fees for services they didn’t want or need, finding that the suit itself, originally brought by the state of Mississippi, is not subject to federal jurisdiction.
