NH Panel Gives Nod To Casino Expansion Bill

Law360, New York (December 6, 2013, 6:43 PM EST) -- A New Hampshire gambling committee on Friday gave a key vote of support to draft legislation that would set up a new gaming authority and that envisions the awarding of a license to develop a casino in the state.

In an 8-1 vote, the New Hampshire Gaming Regulatory Oversight Authority approved the drafted bill, which will be considered by the state's House of Representatives and Senate, Charlie McIntyre, executive director of the New Hampshire Lottery Commission, told Law360.
