Greenwood Says Md. Casino Report Has Pro-MGM Bias

Law360, New York (December 9, 2013, 5:56 PM EST) -- Officials for Greenwood Racing Inc. on Friday blasted a third-party study conducted for a Maryland gambling authority, saying it shows a bias in favor of a rival project proposed by MGM Resorts International.

During a hearing before the Maryland Gaming Video Lottery Facility Location Commission, Greenwood CEO Anthony Ricci tore into a report conducted by a consortium of consultants that repeatedly showed rival MGM's project as providing the state with more revenue and ultimately being more successful.
