Pa. Rep. Wants Prevailing Wage Reforms Expanded

Law360, Philadelphia (December 12, 2013, 3:53 PM EST) -- A Pennsylvania state legislator on Wednesday introduced a bill that would extend prevailing wage reforms included as part of a $2.4 billion transportation funding measure recently signed into law by Gov. Tom Corbett.

Rep. Stephen Bloom, R-Cumberland, said that a provision of the transportation funding bill signed into law in November increasing the threshold for prevailing wage rates on locally funded highway and bridge projects from $25,000 to $100,000 should be expanded to include any project paid for with public money.
