Miami Ballpark Contractor Escapes FLSA Suit

Law360, New York (December 12, 2013, 4:55 PM EST) -- A Florida federal judge on Thursday tossed a putative class action filed by workers who helped build the Miami Marlins’ stadium against concrete company Baker Construction Enterprises LLC and two subcontractors, ruling that the workers had no Fair Labor Standards Act claim.
