Marvel Site, Hello Kitty App Fail COPPA Test, Watchdog Says

Law360, New York (December 18, 2013, 4:13 PM EST) -- A website for kids interested in Marvel Entertainment LLC’s lineup of comic book characters and a mobile phone app featuring Sanrio Co. Ltd.’s beloved Hello Kitty are failing to protect children’s personal information as required by the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, according to an industry watchdog.
