AT&T Cell Phone Unit Hit With Wage-And-Hour Suit

Law360, New York (March 11, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- AT&T Inc.'s cell phone subsidiary was hit on Thursday with a proposed class action alleging that it has not paid its corporate recruiters or staffing coordinators any overtime wages since last June.

The lawsuit was filed against AT&T Mobility LLC, formerly Cingular Wireless LLC, in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania by Wayne Masters, who worked for the company between May and November 2007.

Masters says in his complaint that he began working for the company on May 9 as a recruiter....
