Japanese Subcontractor Wants $2M For Finished DOD Work

Law360, New York (December 18, 2013, 5:35 PM EST) -- Japanese subcontractor ACTY sued construction firm TolTest Inc.’s insurance company for nearly $2 million in Michigan federal court Monday over TolTest’s alleged failure to pay ACTY for work it had performed at a United States Air Force facility in Misawa, Japan.

ACTY alleges TolTest failed to pay it $1.9 million for the construction tasks it performed in Misawa, despite having received payment for the prime contract from the Department of Defense.
