DHS Reboots $22B Tech Procurement After Protests

Law360, New York (January 3, 2014, 7:28 PM EST) -- The Department of Homeland Security has decided to reboot its $22 billion EAGLE II procurement for information technology services, rather than trying to fight a wave of protests that have challenged its choice of contractors.

The DHS said it would rethink its choice of 15 contractors for the unrestricted portion of the award after 14 companies, including many incumbents, filed protests with the U.S. Government Accountability Office in late November and early December.
