Fed. Circ. Revives Trucking Co.'s Suit Against Marine Corps

Law360, Los Angeles (January 3, 2014, 4:05 PM EST) -- The Federal Circuit on Friday revived trucking company Estes Express Lines' lawsuit against the Marine Corps over unpaid freight charges, finding that bills of lading for the shipments were sufficient to show that Estes had a direct contractual relationship with the government. 

A three-judge panel reversed U.S. Court of Federal Claims Judge Francis M. Allegra's January 2013 order dismissing Estes' complaint for lack of subject matter jurisdiction.
