NFL Retirees Detail $760M Concussion Settlement, Atty Fees

Law360, New York (January 6, 2014, 7:18 PM EST) -- The NFL retirees suing the league over its handling of concussions asked a Pennsylvania federal judge on Monday to preliminarily approve a $760 million settlement, with the NFL agreeing to pay up to an additional $112.5 million in attorneys' fees.

Plaintiffs' counsel filed a motion with U.S. District Judge Anita Brody for preliminary approval of a settlement agreement originally announced in August.
