Kuwaiti Labor Law Doesn't Apply In OT Case, Raytheon Says

Law360, New York (January 10, 2014, 5:39 PM EST) -- Defense giant Raytheon Co. sought to dismiss on Friday a proposed class action by a former employee in Kuwait accusing the firm of depriving employees of overtime pay in the Middle Eastern country.

In a motion to dismiss, Raytheon argued to a Massachusetts federal court that the suit by Darrell Robinson, who had worked in a U.S. military base in Kuwait until July 2013, should be dismissed because he has not stated any valid breach of contract claims.
