LAX Officials Greenlight $118M Renovation Contract

Law360, New York (January 14, 2014, 3:41 PM EST) -- The Los Angeles International Airport’s Central Terminal is officially booked for an $118 million facelift complete with modern street lighting, following the airport’s board of commissioners’ approval of a construction contract for a renovation project this week.

The Los Angeles Board of Airport Commission chose a joint venture between Myers & Sons Construction and J. Banicki Construction Inc. to perform the renovation, which is known as the Curbside Appeal Project, during a meeting Monday, according to a statement.
