NJ Generates $8.4M In 1st Month Of Online Gambling

Law360, New York (January 14, 2014, 7:31 PM EST) -- New Jersey casinos took in $8.3 million in its first month of legalizing online gambling, with Atlantic City’s Borgata and Caesars casinos leading the pack, according to a Tuesday release from the state Division of Gaming Enforcement.

The DGE released the first revenue numbers from New Jersey’s foray into legalized online gambling, saying Atlantic City casinos pulled in $8,368,837 in a little over a month, a period that included December, as well as a glitch-prone soft launch that ran for a week in late November....
