Suits Tossed In Japanese, Korean Battery Price-Fixing MDL

Law360, New York (January 21, 2014, 9:40 PM EST) -- A California federal judge on Tuesday dismissed two putative class actions alleging a multiyear, international price-fixing conspiracy among Japanese and South Korean manufacturers of lithium ion battery cells, saying the suits sufficiently allege the conspiracy and cover-up but don’t yet show a conscious commitment to conspire.
