Google, Verizon Focus Lobbying Efforts On NSA Reforms

Law360, New York (January 23, 2014, 6:49 PM EST) -- Google Inc., Facebook Inc., Verizon Communications Inc. and other companies that have been caught up in the furor over the National Security Agency’s surveillance tactics are stepping up their efforts to influence Congress on proposed spying reforms and other hot-button issues, according to disclosures released Wednesday.
