Times Square Hotel May Double In Height

Law360, New York (January 22, 2014, 7:47 PM EST) -- The owners of The Manhattan at Times Square Hotel submitted plans to double the building's height, possibly making some of the units condos, according to files submitted to the NYC Department of Buildings.

The plans list Morris Adjmi Architects as designing the expansion of the 665-room hotel. Under the proposal, the building would add 23 more floors and 121 apartment-size units. The plans didn't clarify whether these would be used as hotel roooms, longer-term rentals or condominiums. Additional retail units are also possible. The hotel's co-owners...
