DuPont Says Indirect Buyers' Cartel Suit Doesn't Stick

Law360, New York (January 23, 2014, 4:13 PM EST) -- DuPont Co. and other chemical manufacturers urged a California federal judge on Wednesday to dismiss a proposed class action alleging they conspired to fix the prices of an ingredient in paint and other coatings, saying indirect purchasers lacked standing to bring their antitrust claims.
