Calif. Court Won't Expand Last-Resort Insurer's Coverage

Law360, New York (February 3, 2014, 6:24 PM EST) -- A California appeals court held Friday that policyholders who suffered losses from wildfires could not recover more than their policy limits from the state's last-resort insurer, turning down claims in individual and class action litigation that the policies did not meet minimum standards.
