Miramax Can't Pare Suit For 'English Patient' Profits

Law360, Los Angeles (February 5, 2014, 4:09 PM EST) -- A California judge ruled Wednesday that a jury must determine if Miramax Film Corp. negotiated in good faith with the producer of “The English Patient” on the definition of "net profits" in their contract, refusing to dismiss a claim in the producer's suit alleging Miramax cheated it out of $20 million.
