Judge Rejects Delta Pilots' Look-Back Claims

Law360, New York (March 21, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A bankruptcy judge has dismissed a handful of look-back pension claims against Delta Air Lines, ruling that the reorganized carrier already put the lingering matter to rest with an earlier settlement.

On Thursday, U..S. Bankruptcy Judge Adlai Hardin of the Southern District of New York granted Delta's objection to the individual proofs of claim filed by a group of retired pilots who sought additional recourse in the wake of the termination of the airline's qualified pension plan.
