Ex-Worker Blasts Raytheon's Rejection Of Kuwaiti OT Law

Law360, New York (February 14, 2014, 6:21 PM EST) -- A former Kuwait-based employee of Raytheon Technical Services Co. LLC struck back at the defense giant’s attempt to dismiss his proposed class action over unpaid overtime, saying in Massachusetts federal court Friday that the employment agreement bounds the contractor to observe Kuwaiti law.

Darrell Robinson, who had worked for Raytheon on a U.S. military base in Kuwait until July 2013, sued the defense contractor, alleging it violated Kuwaiti labor laws governing overtime pay during Ramadan and Kuwaiti holidays.
