9th Circ. Gives $5B Hawaii Rail Project Green Light

Law360, New York (February 18, 2014, 7:01 PM EST) -- In a major victory allowing Honolulu’s high-speed, elevated rail project to move forward, the Ninth Circuit ruled Tuesday that the controversial $5.16 billion project fully complied with the proper environmental and transportation route reviews, defeating a citizen group’s attempt to block construction.
