NLRB Judge Finds Grocery Chain's Arbitration Deal Unlawful

Law360, New York (February 19, 2014, 4:35 PM EST) -- A National Labor Relations Board judge on Tuesday ruled that Sprouts Farmers Markets LLC had run afoul of federal labor law by requiring its workers to sign an arbitration agreement containing a class waiver, rebuffing the company's arguments that the board's D.R. Horton decision should not apply.
