GAO Rule Protects Contractors From Agency Foot-Dragging

Law360, New York (February 24, 2014, 7:53 PM EST) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office recently created a new exemption to its 10-day protest deadline to allow attorneys to consult with their clients about previously unknown information, a decision that attorneys say will protect contractors from deadline gamesmanship on the part of contracting agencies.
