Expedia, Travel Cos. Can't Get New Trial In $55M Tax Case

Law360, New York (February 21, 2014, 5:39 PM EST) -- A Texas federal judge on Thursday refused to grant a new trial in a class action that awarded $55 million to Texas cities alleging Expedia Inc. and several other online travel companies underpaid hotel occupancy taxes, saying there weren't any grave errors in the trial.
