Airbus Nabs Radar Contract For South Korean Satellite

Law360, New York (February 26, 2014, 5:47 PM EST) -- An Airbus Group subsidiary has been awarded a contract for the radar antenna and electronics components of South Korea’s newest observation satellite, the defense company announced on Wednesday.

Working as a subcontractor for Seoul-based aerospace company LIG Nex1 Co. Ltd., the German branch of Airbus Defence & Space will construct radar capabilities for South Korea’s Kompsat-6 satellite, according to a company statement.
