McDonald's, Others Escape Cancer Warning Suits Once Again

Law360, Los Angeles (February 27, 2014, 10:41 PM EST) -- A California appeals court refused Thursday to revive a consolidated suit against McDonald’s Corp. and other restaurant chains over a cancer-causing chemical created by their chicken-grilling process, ruling that a consumer watchdog failed to show that they didn't sufficiently warn customers about it.
