US Hits Sprint With FCA Suit Over $21M In Wiretap Overbilling

Law360, Los Angeles (March 3, 2014, 6:18 PM EST) -- The U.S. government hit Sprint Communications Inc. and an affiliate with a civil lawsuit in California federal court on Monday, accusing the telecommunications giant of inflating its charges for authorized wiretaps and forcing the government to pay $21 million in additional costs.
