Macau Casino Co. Inks $1.6B Waterfront Resort Deal

Law360, New York (March 19, 2014, 6:06 PM EDT) -- Macau-based Galaxy Entertainment Group Ltd. revealed Wednesday that it had recently entered into an agreement with authorities on China's Hengqin Island to build a 10 billion yuan ($1.6 billion) waterfront resort.

Casino developer Galaxy said in a report detailing its 2013 annual results that it had recently entered into a framework agreement with the authorities to build the resort on a 2.7-square-kilometer land parcel on Hengqin.
