Disney To Pay Up To $950M For YouTube Network Co.

Law360, Los Angeles (March 24, 2014, 10:03 PM EDT) -- Walt Disney Co. will shell out as much as $950 million to buy Culver City, Calif.-based YouTube network company Maker Studios Inc., the companies said in a statement Monday.

Maker, a multichannel network company that caters to millennials, claims more than 55,000 channels, 380 million subscribers and 5.5 billion views per month on Google Inc.’s YouTube.
