MGM Hit With Class Action Over Home Video, DVD Royalties

Law360, Los Angeles (March 25, 2014, 4:37 PM EDT) -- The daughter of one of the producers of the 1965 film “What’s New Pussycat?” directed a putative class action at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. on Friday, alleging the company is cheating her and others out of royalties on home video distribution, according to a complaint filed in Los Angeles Superior Court.
