FTC Urges Robust, Enforceable Facial ID Privacy Rules

Law360, New York (March 25, 2014, 8:18 PM EDT) -- A Federal Trade Commission staff attorney on Tuesday weighed in on efforts to craft a privacy code of conduct for facial recognition technology, telling stakeholders that the new standard should be robust and allow for the commission to go after companies that break their promise to follow it.
