SRAM Cos. Challenge Consumer Protection Claims

Law360, New York (April 9, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Defendants in the static random access memory antitrust litigation have made a bid to toss a revised class action complaint from the plaintiffs that addresses how an alleged price-fixing ring hurt consumers.

Attorneys for South Korea-based Hynix Semiconductor Inc. led a motion filed Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California asking the court to dismiss the plaintiffs' second consolidated amended indirect purchaser complaint, claiming that the allegations failed to show any direct contact between the defendants and consumers.
