Jade Hotel will open new branches near Bryant Park, South Street Seaport and in Florida's Miami Beach, the Wall Street Journal reported. In connection with the expansion, a new 114-room hotel will open at 34-36 W. 38th St. in 2015, William Obeid, CEO of hotel developer Gemini Real Estate Advisors, told the Journal. Gemini is also reportedly renovating a former Best Western at 33 Peck Slip near the South Street Seaport in order to rebrand it as a Jade, and that branch will also open in 2015, with about 72 rooms, according to the paper. The Miami Beach branch will reportedly have 70 rooms and will open in 2016....
